You may find discrepancies between the time spent on your profile and the time you recorded yourself. Here are a few explanations:
As long as you are actively on the platform, the time will be counted. However, if you leave the tab to go to another tab (e.g., to an external dictionary or your email account), then the system will stop counting during this "inactive" time. The time counted is only the time spent on Altissia’s platform itself. Changing the browser, tab or page will stop the counter. Please note that clicking on the address bar will also stop the counter because the system considers that there is a complete loss of attention on the course. If your computer goes to sleep, the system will also stop the counter.
On the app, if you leave the course to go to another app (e.g., WhatsApp) the time will not be counted. As soon as you return to Altissia’s app, the system counter resumes.
An ongoing session on the platform is not instantly taken into account. In order to view this latest time spent, please exit the course platform (or change tabs on the browser) and return to it. Your latest session will now have been counted. We recommend waiting a few seconds before going to your profile to give the system time to take your work into account.
